Warner Bros “In The Heights” World Premiere | Backyard Cinema

Backyard Cinema is known for their immersive movie experience. We were commissioned by Warner Bros in partnership with Premier Comms to design and paint two murals for the world premiere of “In The Heights”. The immersive aspect of this film is a vibrant colourful musical that is set in Washington Heights, Manhattan, where graffiti is a big part of the culture and is featured multiple time throughout the film.

To compliment the evening of the premiere, we emulated the spray on bare bricks to create a colourful placement for the movie title. Two sides were painted using elements from posters, title arts and film elements. It was made in two days and we were happy to cover the process by filming it 👇and for you to watch it below.
