Rooftop Cinema × British Airways – Destination Movies

This project brought together two of our long-time favourites: Rooftop Cinema and the boundless inspiration of travel. Commissioned by British Airways and hosted on the rooftop of one of Rooftop Cinema’s iconic London venues, this mural needed to hit cruising altitude in both impact and atmosphere.

Our role was to create a vibrant, immersive backdrop for British Airways’ summer campaign—a setting for events, photos, and branded activations. The brief was clear: something bold and uplifting that would spark wanderlust while harmonizing with the laid-back, golden-hour vibes of an open-air cinema.

The concept leaned into the obvious—but in the best way. Towering clouds drift through a tropical foreground, glowing in warm sunset hues that wrap around the rooftop walls. The mural gives the feeling of stepping into a postcard moment—somewhere between the edge of the jungle and the beginning of a dream vacation.

Framed by a panoramic view of the London skyline, the mural transforms the rooftop into a transportive escape. Whether guests are catching a film or catching a selfie, they’re reminded of the joy of travel and the excitement of new horizons.
